One of the little things that needed fixing on my Bandit were the fork legs, after ten years of neglect, they had paint peeling off and looked like crap.
 
So the question was, to paint or polish.
 
I thought about painting them black, but the swing arm is silver alloy, so three hours of paint stripping and sanding and polishing turned them from this.

Pretty happy, I was going to give them a coat of clear, but I think it is a bit cold to be spraying at the moment.
 
So with the new rim stickers and a bit of polish she does not look too bad.

Be careful the polishing bug will bite and you'll end up with a Very shiny bike.  Cool 

Looks good btw. best if you clear coat them when the weather gets warmer. Of course you'll need to re polish by then
