New "Little" Member from Melbourne
Good Evening all
Been trying to register for a few weeks now but finally figured out that emails are going to my SPAM..
Bought my self a "Little" pressie a few weeks ago.. Its a 2000 GSF250V
Now I know that this is not quite as big as you fellas but I wanted a little bike that I can strip down and play with.
I spied this Baby Bandit on BikeSales and after a quick inspection bought it as is with no rego or road worthy.
Bike is one of the Jap Imports, Standard Metallic Blue and besides a few minor scuffs is in excellent condition.
I will be looking to ask a few questions in the near future so I appreciate any assistance.
FYI - I also own a GSX1400 and an XT660 so maybe I can come and play some day..
Cheers
M

Welcome aboard.
We have Bandits of all sizes here so don't worry.
We might not have many clues for issues but we'll help where we can.
Sounds like a good little project.

Welcome M. Not many 250 Bandit owners but I remember at least one other. So you might struggle to get advice if the queries are too specific to the baby Bandit. But good luck!
PS: Don't think it will have the same pull as the 1400!

Hello Guys
Thanks for the quick welcome.
When I work out how to insert pics I will upload one...but right now its in the Cave with a few bits off...
I am still deciding what to do with it..?
Originally I was looking for a bike I could make into an off roader, sort of like a Triumph Scrambler (I know there's no resemblance what so ever) but when I saw the GSF250 I bought it any way and was thinking Cafe Racer. Plans were to strip it down, remove all the plastic bits, put on some pods, new paint job etc...
Then... My wife took one look at it and said "I like it the way it is and I want it..."
So still not sure what I'm doing but for now I am cleaning it up and making sure its mechanically sound.
Cheers
Marc

I have a better theory. "No wife much happier life" but each to their own I guess
