Thanks for that BanditDave, I'd been looking online for a while and was never sure of quality so hadn't bought one, just ordered one of these, $15.45 delivered to Australia is bloody good cvalue

Actually, if you have a look at the range of items for sale you would wonder how big a warehouse they would need to store the stuff. They would have to have a warehouse the size of 10 Bunnings stores.

What surprises me is the range of products, everything from electric boat winches to pretty floral dresses. I don't suppose Gus would have any use for a boat winch      

It's a drop shipment site. Product from lots of suppliers, the site sends the order to the supplier and they ship it to you. No warehouse for the site its self.

That probably makes very good business sense, not having huge warehouses full of stock.

I think I experienced something similar when I bought a clamp multimeter from an eBay shop in Brisbane. It arrived posted directly from Hong Kong.
