G'day, I got a '08 Bandit 1250 about a month ago, 1 owner all stock except for the 3 Givi boxes.
done about 1,200k's on it so far coming and off a GS500 it's a brilliant bike, I looked at and rode a heap of different bikes before deciding on this one.
It does every thing I wont from a bike, nearly went with a GSX650F but the torque won me over.
There will be some upgrades coming that I think it needs as money allows.
I'm located on Central Coast NSW

Welcome, V17r.
You have got yourself a great bike, that I'm sure you will have heaps of good rides on.
There's a few on the forum from Newy. We may have to have a local chapter ride, one day.

Welcome to the forum V17R

You might want to consider a radiator guard as one of you first upgrades

Welcome V17R, agree with the others re the radiator guard, it doesn't have to hurt the budget either, I picked up a piece of aluminium grill mesh from Supercheap and bent up my own, IIRC it was  $25 a sheet and I have enough left over to make a replacement if this one has to do it's job and gets damaged one day

There's a whole subject on Radiator Guards including a couple of home made cheaper options
