Santo SA Bike Tour
Am still crook so yesterday I just veged out listening to the well overdue rain and watching some tele. Flicked onto the Santo tour down in SA. Fantastic roads that they were racing on. Of course I followed Cadel Evans when he won the Tour De France and so I was cheering for him yesterday. What a great win. He just said to himself, "Right. It's time. Lets Go" And go he did. Have you had a chance to go out and have a look at them Paul ? I can just imagine you in your Lycra.

No , I haven't had a chance to go & watch them , but it is good for SA to be hosting it . Tonight on the way home , there were dozens of bikes on car roofs , trailers etc heading the other way back into town after the southern section .
The only thing that spoils it a bit is the wannabe's , who think if they pop on some Lycra they become international racers & as such ride around in packs & generally block up the roads riding along chatting to each other .......................interesting stuff on a blind corner in the hills when you come across them .
We are certainly blessed with some of the best roads to ride on over here though; right on our doorstep.
Mate , I see myself as more of a latex & leather type of guy than Lycra
