'91 VFR 750 for sale.
Have bought yet another bargain bike. So one has to go.
Expressions of interest before she goes on ebay.
Bought from a guy who spent time and money fixing the fairings from a slow drop and then sold because of baby on the way. Plastic welded and painted in Ducati red, she was immaculate when we got her. In the 4 years that my wife has been riding her, she's been dropped doing a u turn on a hill and fell over when side stand sunk into grass. So has plastic damage again. Tacho doesn't work. Remote fuel tap disabled. Everything else works as it should. Fantastic torquey V four sounds awesome through Staintune. Gear driven cams, these motors are tough.55000km original. Red with white wheels. NSW rego until late Jan. $2000 Newcastle Nsw
Photos to follow.

I love the gear driven cam whine in these.
They sound like a supercharger to me.
Good luck with the sale.

They were a nice looking bike, with integrated turn signals. I'm assuming something like this but in red fairing/white wheels:
Pity I don't have room in the shed!

Hmm - lucky for me it's Xmas and my cash has to be spent somewhere else, or I might be tempted. Here's a red and white one:
Hey Santa, are you listening? After all, four is just one more than Gus has!

This is trusty Rhonda, 58500km and 23 years old, a little bruised here and there but all in all mechanically sound.
Cut out the HONDA letters by hand and found the racing sticker a month or two later, couldnt be bothered doing the other side. lol
NSW rego until January some time. $2000 to forum members.
I'll give you all a days head start and then she's going on ebay

Hey Bosco,
The cogs are ticking in my head, and have to weight up a few things, if the planets align, I`ll PM you. don`t hold your breath, but if I do, it will be soon.
I road one of these back in 93, and can`t remember much about it, apart from having a lot more power than my XT 350 at the time.
How big is the tank in it, and how far to a tank?
How`s your back and wrists on a decent ride?
Cheers John.

I used to ride a Gsxr and Chris rode Rhonda. Every now and then we would swap bikes and Rhonda felt like a lounge chair.
Unsure of tank size, but it does have a fuel guage. There is evidence of repair to the Lhs of tank.
We rode two up Newcastle to Mudgee and range wasn't a problem.
Lovely to ride with plenty of torque from the V 4

Re: '91 VFR 750 for sale.
Owned the bike for four years. Had 45000km when we got her.
The repair in the pic is bubbling under the paint. Not sure what it is, but it's like a blister. Was thinking of getting tank stripped back and redone when the blister eventually pealed, but it hasn't changed in the last three years, so left it.

For some weird reason I was thinking Newcastle was below Sydney so pick up was going to be awkward .When I realised it was above ,it made it do-able .

Could even bring her an hour or so up the coast for you, if you like.
Give the missus a chance for a last ride.
Nabiac motorcycle museum is a must see if you're in the area. 8 hours from Sunshine coast according to Google maps.

that's the only thing that I had troubles with on Bosco`s, as I can`t drive at the moment, and trying to tee up a driver to do the run, or I would have beat you to it, would have left yesterdaygus wrote:For some weird reason I was thinking Newcastle was below Sydney so pick up was going to be awkward .When I realised it was above ,it made it do-able .
