Suzi now has a big arse!
First topic message reminder :
My V35 panniers turned up on Friday so of course I had to fit them immediately.
Of course not everything goes as planned when you've already modified your bike. Givi make great stuff, but of course its all designed to fit the stock bike.
Mine has the R+G tail tidy on it so I had some extra challenges getting the licence plate light to fit.
The R+G licence pate light is a tiny led unit and normally looks neater than the factory one.
Unfortunately it has to very small threads sticking out of it that couldn't possibly be used to attach the Givi indicator bracket.
With some minor unseen modifications I managed to refit the OEM light instead. This of course covers the holes in the bracket where as the R+G one wouldn't have.
The other problem is of course the aftermarket exhaust, in my case a Staintune
I think there is enough clearance, what do you think?
The black panels will be painted blue to match the topbox as soon as my neighbour has the time to do it for me.
One other thing I found was the panniers came with an extra lock barrel so you can have the topbox on the same key.
I didn't know this was going to be the case so I ordered a 3 lock barrel set, which of course I no longer need

Thanks, It was your bike that inspired me.

Everyone else can just ride their bikes up into the Givis and MM will bring you all up in one go. Just like a car transporter.

Its starting to make Barrys look like a step through!
Looks brilliant MM, great job on the colour matching. Think of the money you'll save on front tyres too.

Nice balancing act on the tank too.
I shouldn't laugh. I might have to install some of them and set them up as spare fuel tanks on the MT.

Oh, you've discovered my secret. the panniers have bladders in them
You're right about the tank bag though I liked the way my magnetic one sat but not its potential to scratch the tank. This one wont scratch the tank but looks stupid
