Houston, we have Yoshi
R77 Carbon/Carbon has been fitted. Really like the fit and finish of the Yoshi it's well tucked in and clearance around the rearsets is good.

I'll second that about the R77 Yoshi.
I got the Stainless/Stainless and the sound I get from it is intoxicating.
The look really fits the bike well and opens up the rear as the original pipe was huge and blocked the look of the wheel/swingarm area!
I paid around $470, fitted from memory, about 6 months ago.
Go and get one and unleash the beautiful sound of a big 4 cylinder!

Paid US $470 less 10% (so about US $423 with discount coupon) plus US $85 for shipping from Solo Moto; the coupon was a storewide 10% for October, if you are interested I'll let you know when they put out the next one. Though, with the long-term trend for the A$ vs. UD$ exhange rate you may be better moving sooner rather than later.Hammy wrote:Looks great. OK. How much ? And where from ? I'm tempted to convert.

Hopefully your springs don't rust like mine have. I must get around to buying a set of proper stainless springs and replacing the garbage that Yoshimura send with their exhaust systems.

Sorry guys I used the promo code, ordered a Akrapovic can as the Yoshi cans were out of stock, significantly more expensive, however I love Titanium.Dekenai wrote:Dunno, give it a go if it doesn't work then it might be.

Re: Houston, we have Yoshi
I have sent them an email about the Yoshi and am waiting for the reply. I broke the news to Jan this arvo and she took it quite well. The bruising and swelling should go down by the weekend.

Tyler from SoloMoto just emailed me and informed me that they will not have the carbon/carbon till mid Jan'. I told him I will wait. Even though I was tempted to go the titanium/carbon.

Is Titanium / Carbon Yoshi? and is it available?Hammy wrote:Tyler from SoloMoto just emailed me and informed me that they will not have the carbon/carbon till mid Jan'. I told him I will wait. Even though I was tempted to go the titanium/carbon.
I would prefer Yoshi over the Akrapovic.
Cheers

Go the Titanium or Stainless/Stainless. it's more bling and comes up real nice when you clean the bike.
The carbon look is getting tired i think and the workmanship can be seen in the Titanium and Stainless ones.
Either way they sound good and they are way better than the standard pipe!
