Depends on the weather.

When it's cold I wear an Rjays textile jacket with thermal and waterproof (so called) liner, winter gloves, motorcycle boots and thermal lined textile pants.

When it's hot I wear, short sleeved collard work shirt, work pants (drill cotton), open face helmet and work shoes.

I no longer commute!  But when I did I wore:
Winter: 5 Brand winter gloves, Dririder pants & liner, winter jacket & liner, motorcycle boots
Summer: Draggin jeans, jacket with no liners, sneakers, Dririder aeromesh gloves

Seasons in between - depended on the weather.

Winter, dririder all seasons jacket (can't remember its name) dririder waterproof over pants, steel cap work boots, or blundys depending on which job I'm going to, dririder Nordic gloves.

Summer, Dririder Air Ride 2 summer jacket, jeans or dragging jeans, same choice of boots, Rjays bandit summer gloves.

I did buy an Aldi leather jacket but it weighs a tonne and is that stiff it feel like you wearing medieval armor.

I wear motorcycle boots when out enjoying myself

I ride all year round at least a few days a week.
40km rural commute to a regional town.
I did record an average speed last week on my phone but the police might read these things Laughing affraid

I have recently grown out of my faithful Motodri textile jacket and its been replaced by an Aldi textile jacket thats pretty well made for $49!
That will be my year round commuting jacket because I can layer under it. Gloves are either DriRider summer (short) or Extreme summer gloves with work cargo pants and rain covers if required and lace up mid length work boots (wear slip ons when not riding)

My social riding gear is Extreme leather jacket, RST or Dragon jeans (cargo’s) same gloves and AlpineStars touring boots.

I should try to offload my DriRider Nordic jacket, the above MotoDri jacket and my brando style leather commuting jacket that the old me used to wear.

Ill just say I wear all the gear, all the time, even in 42C... makes that commute to the cafe more rewarding.

My gear is Draggin Jeans, Dririder boots, textile jacket and either the summer or winter gloves. Mind you, my commute to town is only 10kms

Winter cold wet days .......dryrider coat with thermal lining ,Rjays thermal lined pants , various winter gloves ( they get wet ) neck warmer, & boots

Warmer weather ............jeans, Rjays slip over waterproof pants if it's a bit nippy or raining ......coat minus the thermal lining, & boots .

Hotter weather mesh coat . jeans , summer gloves  maybe sneakers  or boots....................hot weather , mesh gloves . jeans .t-shirt or maybe plus a  mesh coat , sneakers

All the above , obviously include a  helmet , socks , jocks & sometimes a jumper & a clean hanky  Laughing

Full Textiles, top & bottom until this bloody cold weather goes. Then it's just the leather jacket.
