I seem to remember this one (because the post encouraged me to buy some) - and I agree that it is good stuff.

Here it is:

Any tips on where to buy it?
eBay prices are $40 or so.

Used it for years with no issues.  A good microfiber cloth works wonders

CD, I think you need to buy a couple of new microfibre cloths from Supercrap or the like. I laundered mine aswell but that wax sticks hard to it. I actually did my whole car last week and ended up buffing it out with an old pair of flannelette PJs for the same reason. Its an easy fix. Now the water just runs off it like mercury, looks like something out of The Terminator. Heres another tip, do your visor for the same reason, works brilliantly.Smile

Not all microfibre cloths are the same. Some are a lot less absorbent and smeary.  A good old flannelette sheet is excellent (unless the wife catches you flogging it off the bed)

I'll be the first ."I didn't like it ", but I guess it depends on condition of tank before you put it on .You can not expect a great improvement if you already have a good shine .
didn't like the runny consistency and HATTED the bottle shape .
They must have known the make something more stable you lower its center of gravity and widen its base . They made it tall and narrow ,so you keep knocking it over .(cleaver)
I went back to Nu-Finish in the orange bottle .(bottle not much better but a lot cheaper,
its just polish not liquid gold Mr Turtle )
R.I.P Ice wax .

please correct me if im wrong, but isnt Nu-Finish for dull old paint work? that suggests that it would contain cutters in it.  not something you would want to use too often.
I agree about the bottle though, might be a crafty marketing plan so you buy more after you've spilt most of it.

Yeah that's cheap, unfortunately super-crap don't stock the tub only the liquid and the spray on instant shine stuff

You might be right , I have a lot of overspray in my shed so it might explain why it works well on my bike .I better go and read the bottle AFTER I use it, like every good man should.Laughing

Nu-finish contains Diesel and a fine cutting powder. An old friend of mine(dead now)'s dad used to polish his red Bedford truck only with diesel and a rag. The finish was like looking into a mirror.

Lashed out and bought the boxed set. $ 34.  For something that comes out of the bottle like watered down milk, it certainly does an excellent job. I have not seen a finish like it. Great on the screen as well. I recon an extra 0.00058726 kph , at least.  Laughing

I use these products to keep the bike like new:

1. Turtle Wax Ice liquid on all paint and the screen, headlight and headlight protector
2. IP One "The renovator" on all plastics, anything black in fact. (http://www.bikebiz.com.au/products/Ipone-Renovator.html). It leaves a new plastic shine that lasts and isn't sticky and doesn't attract grit
3. WD40 to clean the rear rim (Turtle Wax Ice afterwards)
4.  Eagle one metal polish for the Yoshi and Solvol Autosol on the headers if they are tar spotted or grimy

I washed my bike for the first time in about 8 months last week. The water and detergent made the finish much better than prior to washing it so I am happy.
