Givi V35 panniers
Has anyone got a set of V35 Givi panniers on their Bandit (GSX 1250FA) that could post some photo's please, and are they big enough to put a helmet in.
I would like to know if they suit the bike or, are to big or to small and whether the panniers alone suit, or would it need the top box as well as I don't do any touring, just the once a year to Canberra and to the shops etc.
Regards
Paul

I sold mine as soon as I saw them in the boxes. (Got $1000 for them) They are fugly in my opinion if you don't do much touring.
I have a Ventura rack and several bags and they suit my needs much better.

Some time down the track I'm thinking of getting the V35s. Already have an V47 topbox that holds 2 helmets.
Reviews I've read on the V35s say you can fit 1 helmet in each

Try using the search engine or better still Google with this type of query (Note - you can replace "v35" with anything your looking for), I found it gives better results:
v35 site:https://nswbandits.forumotion.net
One of my pet hates is people saying "use the search" without actually helping, so to not be a total hypocrypt here is a photo and link to one of the previous post by Pete, there are a few others on here with photos. BTW there is no difference in the tail end of your bike and the earlier water cooled models:

Here are a few picks of my GSX with full Givi setup. Yes you can fit a full face helmet but it can be tight. I have a medium Shoei.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the piccies, the bike really looks the goods. Did you get the Givi's from Luigi in Italy, and were they expensive.

Paul

Here's mine. The coloured panels make the difference. If you don't care, look for Kappa K33s as well. Made by Givi, but not branded and cheaper. The Kappas are fitted now as standard to the GSX1250FA touring models and fit the standard Givi PLX mounts, but there's no coloured panel option with those.

Have you considered soft over the seat luggage? http://www.motomail.co.nz/estore/style/gitbt449.aspx
I do a bit of touring and have a hard top box for security and am waiting for soft luggage to arrive. I think it will look better than Kewwigs caravan

I'm assuming Barry that you have to take the shade-cloth sail with you as well.

Nar, left them there when we moved to Tassie, the 14 of them didn't fit in the boot....

Hi Paul.
Here's a pic or two of mine.
Can NOT fit my helmet in, although apparently I have a BIG head....
You would probably JUST fit in a smaller helmet.
My top box takes my helmet & plenty of other stuff. Wouldn't be without it.
I have managed to get a slab of Carlton stubbies in, spread between panniers & top box, which was very handy.
