August 18 (Confirmed)

Calling all Victorians (and everyone else)

Ewok and I are planning a ride to Healesville through the West Gippsland hills around 18, 19 or 20 August (sat, sun, mon)

A date will be confirmed a little later depending on who wants to come and when people might be available.

The plan is to meet others at Healesville's Beachworth Bakery for lunch then wander on to Sugarloaf Reservoir or Maroondah Reservoir which is just up the road. These locations should be convenient to Melb people.

Of course you can join us along the way for a ride up or tag along for the ride back.

Kaupy have a think about it. Its about the same distance

I'm probably riding down from the Bega Valley on the 17th Jim (that's not yet definite - I might just ride from Canberra to Traralgon on the 16th if the weather is crook). But then, I'll be on long service leave so the days off in between then and the weekend are not an issue for me.

There's a new cafe just up the road, cnr Maroondah hwy and St Leonard's. It's called AJ's Motor Cafe they have set up with motorcyclists in mind.

Bakery is fine by me, I just read about the new cafe in ARR and thought it might be worth a look.

The g/f's got a family do on that arvo (now she tells me!) so I have to pike out this time, sorry fellas.

Just to confirm, I'm still on for this. And looking forward to it!
