Beowulf oval CF on a GSX1250FA
Arrived yesterday. Beowulf were great to deal with, Toll Priority weren't so good. Muffler was lost in Aust for 2 weeks. 80 quid is a lot to pay for freight when it all goes belly up - but it all ended happily.
A little bit of a before and after video effort here (apologies for the last bit - it might scare small children):

That's a nice wee growl from the Beowulf. Where did you pick it up from Bill?

Lets assume Bill did the same as me and ordered it online from Beowulf in the UK after emailing them for the ex VAT info (17% off)
Mine was delivered by courier to rural Vic 7 days after ordering.
FWIW Its been on about 4 years and I'm rapt with it.
It does produce a nice growl. The FZ would sound even better with one I reckon. (current Remus GP)

Yours appears to be mounted slightly different Bill
Double check how far in you have the link pipe.
Maybe its a different link pipe on yours but note the position of my strap compared to yours.

As 2WA said, ordered from Beowulf UK, they were great to deal with and gave me a tracking number almost immediately. It took 3 days to get to Sydney after I had placed order, then it went belly up. Toll lost it between Sydley and Daaaarwin. After nearly 2 weeks and no joy from Toll, I contacted Beowulf giving them a heads up that their Aussie courier wasnt being real cooperative. They got on the case and we got it sorted after a couple more days of dicking around. In the end we went in and picked the muffler up from the Local Toll depot as they seemed unable to find the Darwin central business address we had asked to be posted to. I'm thinking that we were simply unlucky and I really can't speak highly enough of Beowulf. They answered all my emails promptly.
Freight is a killer and it cost 80 pounds for that bit. No VAT was charged. All up I think around $400. I'm wrapt with the muffler. The quality is excellent and the sound is Beeeudiful. One mishap going to work this am, I took a usual (very sharp) right hand turn a bit too wide and figured it was cos I was no longer carrying a huge lump of oem deadweight muffler on the right hand side. Not really a mishap, just messy riding.

Cheers 2WA, Yeah I noticed that also. I looked into it and there weren't many options to alter the position. I had to file off som small burrs along the splits in the slipper pipe sections so made sure there was plenty of movement available. I think the link pipes are a bit different. I'm not worried as the main bracket (where its placed) carries the combined weight of the muffler and link pipe centrally, so apart from the visual difference, I can't really see any problem. What length is your can 2wa? This one is 380mm.
I had bought a new seal for the fit up, but in the end the old seal was an easy swap. I guess if I hadn't bought the seal it would have been a hf.
I went with the Beowulf based on others on this forum opinions including yours and I thank you all for posting.
Cheers,
Bill.

Good to hear Bill.
sb, I shelled out the readdies this week for a new Delkevic can, just waiting for it to arrive, the bike is just too quiet with the standard lump on it!
