Hi Folks, I just put on my new delkevic tri oval CF slip on. It's so much fun now on the bandit, I just sit under the patio and rev it. Very Happy
I don't know if it's just the new deeper throatier voice but it feels better to ride too. Very Happy

On a non-exhaust elated topic, can I get a bit of advice from more experienced persons than I.
I've braked quite hard a couple of times just lately, and it seems to give a bit of a kick/jump felt through the foot pegs and bum
Is that the suspension needing adjustment for my weight? I've never touched it, and don't know anything about it.
Or is it my technique, possible slight turn of the bars at the end?
Or is that what ABS feels like when it kicks in?

Its probably not but when stearing head bearings get loose you can feel a knock when you brake .Put the bike up on center stand ,get someone to sit on pillion seat .Grab the bottom of the forks (you are now eyeballing the headlight )push and pull them .there should be no movement .Only the forks
bending a fraction

It is a good idea to take your bike into your local (friendly) bikeshop, and get them to adjust your suspension sag with you there, to suit you. Doesn't take long. But can make the world of difference.

ps. Like the new can.

It sounds like the ABS mate. Go out on a back road some where and hit the back brake, To get a feel for it. I have ABS too and the back ABS comes on every now and then. Feels like shit to me, but the front ABS has saved me a couple of washouts on dirty roads.

The only time mine does that under hard braking is when I have slightly compression locked the rear. I like the rear sliding and the noise of the chirping rear tyre protesting under engine braking. I'm with Reardo the rear abs is shit, if I could turn it off on the rear I would.
