So, I've blocked the pairs, executed the secondaries, put a slip-on on Wink , put on a O2 sensor eliminator, bought the FI Tuner, and now I've booked in a dyno tune for next week.
Then someone said "you need to get new thru' header pipes first"
I can't spend any more $$, the Mrs'll kill me, and they wouldn't arrive before the Dyno tune is booked in.
I went to an exhaust place to see if they could cut the cat out and weld in a section but he said "no, it'd be too expensive" and said to get a six pack and a screwdriver and bash it out.
Many frustrating hours later I got it all out. I would have ruined the O2 sensor because I was bloody rough, even rougher than when I "removed" the secondaries.Embarassed
Now it Pops really loud on decelleration............Now my question

Does it matter that I ruined the O2 sensor? because I put in the O2 sensor eliminator? Is the popping just a result of incorrect fuel mix that will be sorted out next week with the FI tuner and the Dyno?
Sorry for being long winded, Happy Easter albino

I did it about 2 years ago and it only got a big pop every now & then. It's the un-burnt fuel in the collector going off.
I rode around for donkeys like it, then got the Arrows headers & dyno tune a couple of Months ago.

No u don't need 02 sensor.

Did you remove the exhaust like i did .If so did you replace the 4 gaskets (in the head )as they may not now be sealing .

It's only popping on deceleration because of a rich mixture on deceleration. The dyno should take care of that

If you what a $zero improvement to the standard header before the dyno, Get a round file or die grinder and grind out the restrictive bead of weld in the header.

Try to get a nice smooth finish to help the gas's flow faster.
