Rear Fender Eliminator
Has anyone had any luck with Rear Fenders?
Names of good suppliers/brands for a suitable Rear Fender would be helpful.......
Cheers.

Not on fender eliminators but I am thinking of a hugger. That probably didn't help.

Had a power bronze one on my last bandit ( with a hugger ) . they have a distributor in australia & he gave me 10% discount on my screen on this bandit for being a forum member .

Re: Rear Fender Eliminator
That looks so much better than stock and i really want to do it to mine ................BUT
Old mate and I got pulled up last week at an RTA safety check not too far from home here in Gympie and that was one of the things that old mate with got a defect notice for
The other thing he got done for was no "E" marking on his mini indicators lenses
Which doesn't make any sense as we both have loud pipes that didn't even look at those or my exposed pod filters or the missing cat converter on old mates bike
The RTA officer then went on about how it was unsafe to other road users throwing stones and road spray etc blah...blah...blah
Maybe i will just shorten the plastic one a bit more for now

This poses the question: What use is a guard anyway. What purpose does it serve ? Does not stop stone flinging. Only prevents the bike owners bike from becoming dirty. Is no real help in the event of an accident.

It's the same old bull shit from some motorbike hating dickhead that made it a law years ago because motorbikes are dangerous.

Re: Rear Fender Eliminator
Totally agree especially when you look at the latest sport bikes ZX10 , R1 , CBR1000RR etc they basically don't have much guard to start with
And what they do have is not going to stop anything being thrown up at all
Cars and trucks ,4wd's going the other way throw up just as much crap n rocks
Maybe cages should have guards on the windows to stop F--- Heads throwing out cigarette butts
