Was looking at those things the other day on Egay and wondered the same thing.

I bought a 'resistor chip' a couple of weeks ago - the ends plug into the plug in front of the air inlet (disconnect the plug)... when I did so the F1 light came on and wouldn't go off.... the guy that sells these things asks that you contact him if there is an issue - so I did. He tole me that sometimes the vehicle isn't compatible with these things (only a resistor worth about 20c) and repaid me so all is good. But I wondered if the 'Tre' thing was similar?? Rolling Eyes

Good as a gear position indicator but make no difference to the power. I can't tell any difference at all with my GiPro ATRE. It is good for monitoring whether your gear position switch is working though!

I noticed an improvement on my GSX650F I had one on. (Healtech X-TRE) When I fitted it to my 1250FA, nah - couldn't r e a l l y tell without a dyno.
Save the $ and put it toward a PCIII / PCV / FIT Pro....
