I picked up Reardo as planned ( not literally , I just had some hernias fixed ) at 9am & headed south to Aldinga to meet up with Big Al ,Diablo & Xpalan (who was there to meet Reardo & then headed off on a family day thing) . From there the 4 of us went south over the Myponga dam wall ,through Carracalinga ,Normanville ,Delamere & over to Victor Harbor for a coffee& pit stop .From there we went via Middleton , bull creek road , Macclesfield to " the Garage " at Strath, where we met up with Silver for a coffee & then over to the pub for lunch & a natter.( also bumped into some others we Knew from the Ducatti club & ASB there .)After lunch it was home via Paris creek ,Kangarilla & a scenic route via the Vales wineries .All in all a great ride despite the force being out in force ( you can have mine if I get one in the post Big Al to go with your others mate LOL ) all up I did about 320 km which I wasnt sure I would make after the hernia operation but so glad I went ;sorry Hammy I didn`t take any photos .

Sounds like a great ride. Even though I have'nt a clue where all the places are. I forgive you Paul because of your Hernia ops. Reardo ! surely you had a camera or video strapped to your head.

Adelaide is built on the Fleurieu peninsula & we basically did a southerly lap of that plus a bit & some weaving in & out while we were at it ( you`ll have to come down Hammy & I`ll show you )

Re: Ride for Reardo 25-3-12
You never know Paul. I may just take you up on that offer one day. Only holidayed in SA once many years ago. Loved the place. Just like a big town really. Stayed at Glenelg on the beach. Very nice. Dined with the Dolphins. Toured up around Wilpenna Pound. Lovely. Left some money at the Casino. Drank some beer that tasted like Camel urine.
ps. Still awaiting pics or video. Or, as Reardo sez himself. " It did'nt happen "

A lot of development done at Glenelg where you can pay the same price for 3 of my houses as you do for somewhere to park your boat in their new marina . Despite that Adelaide is still one of the best places to live & raise a family .( not sure what beer you had , must have been imported LOL )
