Givi vs suzuki mounting hardware
hello everyone, i have a question i hope someone here can anawer that local dealers cant seem to give me a definate answer on. ok so last summer i purchased a set of givi v35 bags for my 2010 gsx1250fa. when i ordered these from my suzuki dealer they ordered me the bags from givi and ordered me the suzuki side rails PN: 990D0-17H00-065. Now i want the top case so i contacted my dealer again and i now have the monolock B47 blade on order with the 076-FZ539 Specific Monorack for top case and the 076-M5M monolock Plate. my main question is, is the 076-FZ539 rails (givi) compatable with the suzuki side bag hardware 990D0-17H00-065. my dealer, and many others i have contacted seem to think it will be fine, but when i type in these product numbers into google images it seems like im looking at diffrent parts that wont be compatable. it seems to me anyway that the suzuki sides wont work with the givi top case rails, these seem to attach diffrent ways and seem to me anyway to be completly diffrent. so i was wondering if they are infact compatable, or if they made a few diffrent types and i need a specific one, any help on this would be great, my parts are already ordered but if i find new info i might be able to change it before it comes in. thanks for your time

Re: Givi vs suzuki mounting hardware
Hi Vince. I have the full Givi setup, but a friend has the Suzuki side racks (50mm wider and higher indicator mounting points), and the Givi topbox rack FZ539 which bolts on just fine.
Here's pics of that setup. Sorry they aren't higher resolution

I have seen both together on a mate's 1250FA and they seem fine.
How much was the 076-M5M monolock Plate? I'm trying to get the same thing.

Re: Givi vs suzuki mounting hardware
thanks for the replys fokes, it makes me feel abit better that people that know the bikes well, seem to think ill have to issues here, and to Theov39, the plate was $ 59.99 + hst, (Canada), looking atb the pictures there seems to be two diffrent styles of bag mounting rails, my dealer and many othere all seem to think there is only one set up, must be just a lack of info on their end.

Bloody hell I thought I'd be smart and reply with a pic from Google.
I Google innocent because I'm being unfairly painted as some sort of monster. I can't post anything that came up

Givi pannier racks are crap
see posts on other topics about my experience with a Givi pair of E41s and the side brackets I got.
The dealers don't know what they're doing and neither does the distributor.
