Trade in No Thanks

Curious to see what the bandit was worth today as a trade in... Needless to say i walked out and rode it home... think 4wa is an appropriate handle

My trade in offer was $6,000 - $6,500 on a $17,000 bike. That's from a shop that knows my bike and knows how it's looked after.
That's why I looked for a second set of wheels

I have this in the shed Baz - seems to tick the boxes you mentioned (short 5 cyclinders though) - fill the spray tank with 91 and you'll be good for 800kms without stopping - no german required!

I thought my offer was a bit low but I'm in a rural town. Yours is probably closer to the mark.
Would think its top dollar for the Blackbird though. Depending on bling etc.

The local Yam shop has a blue low km but rough 05 FZ1 when i was looking they had $6,500 on it.
I had a look yesterday and they now have $5,200 which would be a good buy now. That drop is over 3 months and with cash a buyer could do even better. So yeah, let them come to you

If anyone spots an XS850 that looks viable as a project bike, would appreciate a PM. If its looks this good type faster:!

I often see one parked at our local Maccas. Its pearl white and looks like new.

Rode to Whitehouse Motorcycles in Albury this morning and almost(It was bloody hard not to) fell in love with an all black Triumph Thunderbird.
