Post  gringo Fri 13 Jan 2012, 3:08 pm

Ok I have a cracked fairing on the front and I was going to get it welded, however I need to find out which colour bandit I have.

I will also need to track down new stickers for the front, So I am really hoping I can get some.

I have a 2008 1250 SA in what looks like a 'metallic silver' If anyone can help it is very appreciated.

What colour blind fool (read f$%k wit) named that oort grey?

I guess I will have to ring suzuki, as it is reasonably light in reality. best to make certain on paint colors.

*Edit* got off the phone to the dealer and yes that is correct, Thank you for the advice.

That Rack is a ventura rack, came on the bike when I bought it, thanksfully the seller gave me the original grab rail if I want to remove it.

It IS a nice BIG RACK though, don't you think....

OMG!!! Shocked

Those stickers are $90 by the time I pay for postage.

I did ring the dealer and the 2 stickers are $35.

However, I will see if the painter can 'blend' it first, it is not a very visible spot, so will try first,

If it doesn't work will have to spray the whole damn thing... damn metallic paint!

Thanks, I already ordered some rim stickers off feebay. Pretty cheap,

I think we are going to have a go at the painting first, I figure if it works I have saved money. If it doesn't work, then I pay someone to paint it. I will wait until all painting is done before deciding on sticks, cause they can be done at anytime Very Happy
