Re: Twin lights at last .
I ordered some Renthal ulta -lows at the local bike shop .$60 i was expecting more $ expecting them Wed.\
Back to headlights
Never use parkers so got rid of those wires
First thing to rust will be inside so i coated the inside with chain wax.(not runny)
Everything fitted inside the shells (to my surprise )
Fitting took about 20 mins , mostly working out how to fit ever thing inside the shells .Otherwise plug and play .
Finish very good ,wiring excellent (take not Suzuki ) SIZE 3.5 " each so overall 7" .Called Dominator from Bandit Dave (e-Bay U.K )
Price about $85 (66 pounds ).Spent the next 3 hours trying to tidy up the wires and ignition block ,as it didnt look right with the cowl (to me )
I'll finish it tomorrow as i carnt get it right .

Happy for you that they finally arrived Gus. Blame my partner, Jan, she works for Aussie Post. How is the Hi Low set up going to be ? One for low, and two for high ? Or both on low and high ? I like both on all the time . Look forward to seeing more.

They would be the same as Whiteys . The hard part was making the piece to hide the wires .I took a template if anyone goes down this path , should
save someone a day of frustration .

Looks good. Really changes the front . Dont know about the Chook though. If I caught one of ours sitting on " Rosie " she would be in the pot quick smart.

I carnt say its "pretty" but its interesting .Now where are those renthal ulta lows .Which makes me ask.
If i'm paying $60 for them ,was it worth you guys ordering them from the U.K .At that price i couldnt be bothered waiting .
And to shock you all i ordered SILVER .

I paid $60 for my set of ultra lows but i got stuffed around by the importer ( cassons ) and they took 8 weeks to get to me so they reduced the price a bit more as well
I bought the brace for mine as the bars felt sort of flexy when the going got a bit faster and under hard braking , I had to order the brace from the UK as cassons don't bring in the brace for the road bars
This one

feels much better now

They look the same as mine. I found they weren't much good as being lights at night but I still reckon they look shit hot. If you dont do much riding at night like me then its all good.gus wrote:

Do you have good insurance for your stunt chook? My wife loved that pic

Still in the Honda Shop in Perth. Still not sold. Had a few people interested but no-ones taking the plunge yet
Watching "By any means" with Charley Boorman last night I was itching for a trailbike again. Going up through the Daintree looked like a lot of fun
