No real problem Gus - it's just that owning a Guzzi is on my bucket list and I made the mistake of test riding a new Norge.

dhula I don't want to split anything up ATM in case the bike doesn't sell and I keep it - I really like it as I've got it.

Also remembered there is a Scottoiler e-system that goes with the bike - new still in it's box, I'm just too busy ( and lazy ) to fit it.

Would you separate the stuff that is not on the bike
Interested in
FIT (no, not for the strom)
Scottoiler (yes, considering for strom)
If you are happy to offload them separate to bike and the price in right for me.

Oh dear how embarrasing - I set out to buy a Guzzi and ended up with a Kawasaki 1400GTR

If I was in a position to buy the Guzzi the day I rode it I probably would have ridden it home then and there. After that ride I decided I should check out the competition a bit more closely and eventually decided the Kwaka was going to tick all the boxes ( except maybe the emotional attachment ) for me and the deal I eventually got on the GTR sealed it for me.

Anyway pics to follow but I can't pick it up for a few days until the mechanic comes back from holidays to do the pre delivery.

congratulations Fossil / A lot of bike for your money with the kwaka , & probably less of a bonding time than with the Guzzi .

Very good. The 1400gtr is what i will be buying next

I think I'll be really happy with the GTR and in a round about way I've got the Bandit to thank for it.

The Bandit made me realise just how torquey and grunty at low revs ( ie real world riding in day to day conditions ) an inline 4 can be - I think some people are under the impression that you have to rev the nuts off all inline 4's just to keep up with the traffic.

I'll always have a soft spot for the Bandit and I would have kept it if money and space was no object.
