Steve, I can and have taken better high speed shots, maybe next time we should set up the tripod. I loved the shot of me in full flight.
better still if we get more bandits together we can do a movie as well ...
what is the collective noun for a group of bandits? according to this website http://all-sorts.org/nouns/bandits and "ARSE of BANDITS" is perfectly acceptable.

Re: Success - masher in full flight!!!!!!!!!
we all need to arrange to meet at PITS or something one sunday and we can spend an hour or two setting up some shots for everyone - if we take a few cameras we're sure to get some good shots. it was a bit hot that particular day though to keep standing around in the sun. i havent done that before but it is a bit hard trying to get those hi speed ones - need a bit of practice at it. i think it might be better to set up the focal point manually and maybe use manual on aperture and speed or one or the other - those were on full auto. that corner is quite a good one - it tighten up as you go around - also it doesnt take all that long to get back around if you dont get lost on the way back barry
