Looks great, but the pillion grab handle still looks out of place to me.

Beauty is in the eye of, as they say. I see some bikes ,even brand new ones in the showroom and think, " What were they thinking ". It is good that we are all individuals and all have different tastes. Otherwise we would all be driving black VW Bettles and riding identical bikes. I like to see other peoples choices, and maybe even take ideas to use in some way.

There Gus, the cowls are now painted. You have a challenger for the rattle can competition... Laughing
Big thanks to Hammy for putting me onto a paint supply place which matches colours into rattle cans. It's not exact but it's as close as you'll get in a 1K preparation - sprayed in the backyard for less than $50. Looks better in the sun than the shade.
Again - this was taken with my phone so the red doesn't appear as irridescent in the photo as is really is.
The seat cowl is off my 1250 - was test fitting to see how it looked.

Looks pretty schweet I recon.
I like the gold grab handle, breaks the colours up and makes it individual.
I like the side covers painted, makes it look part of the bike instead of an after thought IMO

These pictures were without a silver base coat. I was told I didn't need it by the paint people. (they have all the Bandit colours available too - so thinking of colour coding my seat cowl for the 1250). Since taking this picture I tried changing the swing arm pivot cover from silver to red by simply spraying over the top. Well bugger me it's a dead set match. Dang now I have to do my covers again! Have gotten a bit of "orange peel" effect on one of the covers. Not too bad but when it next to the mirror like finish of the factory paint it sticks out a little.

Yes, I'll take a full frame one tomorrow morning. Bear in mind until I save enough $ to get the belly pan it won't be visually finished.

Well ,have to call it as you see it .

That is just plain wrong . But ,i dont mind the top triangle bit, black to match the air box .Thats all i like though .
I like the way the tail section slopes down and doesn't get mixed up with the top section .Make any sense ?
Top frame line stuffs the hole plot .
My girlfriend disagrees with me so what would i know . Its just what i prefer .

Strange pic dont think that helps

I like it. It's different. looks like it's done by photo shopping the pic.

I would like to see a FA done with more racier colours & stickers.

ditto. I mounted my new 133db Steble horn up under the front, onto the brake line bracket. The horn wire reaches nicely and you cant see it. As for the other forum bike pic. Sorry but not my cuppa'. Too much goin' on. OK if he/she is going to plaster it with stickers and put it on the track, but I dont like the colour scheme at all. JMHO.
