Gus. Do you like the look of the clear tail light units that you can get to replace the original ? I think they match the clear indicators, and look pretty cool.

Not raining on your parade but I might pay to check ADR specifically for motorcycles. I used to have a link but can’t find it

Looks a bit odd to me mate. IMO. what about swapping the reflector and number plate around. To me it looks up side down.gus wrote:

Re: Plate light .........
The clear lense LED rear light I have on the 1250 was used on my 650. Never had any issues. I don't use the integrated indicators though, they're not quite bright enough IMO.

That's not the point. Try claiming on insurance for a rear end collision with none compliant tail light.
Its more of an issue than a tail tidy or hugger or zorst. Clear may be OK for ADR just saying check first.

Re: Plate light .........
Your right Reado it does look upside down .I knew something was wrong .I was sure the last time i looked at doing this something was differant .
I'll fix it tomorrow and see if it looks better.
I'm already a bit paranoid about getting rear ended so i'll be keeping it the way it is .I had a mate who got rear ended on his Bandit .Broke his back and was in a brace
.He is ok now but hasnt ridden since .Lady who ran into the back of him was pissed .
Wouldnt you get a hot spot on the top one .As in uneven light .
I'm thinking the last thing you would want with a quick police walk around like i got the other day .

Looks good gus. I've been meaning to do this to my bike for ages. Will crack out the tools when I'm fitting my Scottoiler and give it a shot.

Re: Plate light .........
What happened to hiding the number from the number-plate-nazis?
You could have got the old man who points at things for you to put his hand over it.

Re: Plate light .........
I think if you tried harder, you could actually get a more beaten up crappier looking bracket. For someone who has a caniption over scratches from keys, that's funny.

Re: Plate light .........
What are you going to do with the spade now?
Moving the plate exaggerates it heaps.
