SBA Calendar 2012
First topic message reminder :
Hello Members,
Our esteemed leader Cameron has hit on the idea of a Suzuki Bandits Australia 2012 calendar.
The way it will work is;
If enough people upload pix of their Bandits and GSX1250/650 we will have a discussion at some point about which 12 make it onto our very own calendar.
Any pic. Any where. Any how is eligible.
That’s the theory. I guess we’ll have to see what the production costs are but feel free in the meantime to post a pic (any number) of your bike in this thread.
No need to upload full resolution size here, but you will probably need access to a decent resolution pic if yours is chosen.
Note: Any pic in this thread may be used. If you have a pic that you don’t want used post it in another thread as we’d still like to see your ride.

Re: SBA Calendar 2012
A polarizer is a glass filter that allows light to enter the lens from one direction. On a bright sunny day there will be light coming from one main direction, the sun, and reflected light will be going in any and all directions, giving a low contrast image. A lot of water or dust in the air will make it worse. The polarizer can block out all the other stray reflected light, it can cut through (or eliminate) haze, add contrast and definition and saturation to the subject. Its a must have for photographing a landscape, architecture, cars, bikes, anything outside.
Every time I see that image of your bike Gus, I think "I want to be there". Just looks like a perfect, lazy, happy day out on a really nice bike.

Often wondered how they worked as opposed to normal sunnies .

Its been my experience a polariser does SFA when used with DSLR cameras with modern multi coated lenses.
I have circular and horizontal. Polarisation can be implemented in post editing to good effect.

No worries Cameron - just also remember to advise us how to pay you (and when). I'm happy to do a bank t/fer or send a cheque/cash or whatever - but not card details.

Re: SBA Calendar 2012
There's some great pics on ere! Ive only got some pics of the Bandit just after it arrived home. I'll post em shortly, but otherwise I'll get cracking for the 2013 calender!!
Ive "replied" to you Cameron in the Notices section.
......Just checked for those photos, and they're not what I'd consider calender material!

Re: SBA Calendar 2012
I am in for the calendar.
Is it too late to post a pic?
Ewok has a decent pic of my bike on a muddy track from the Bathurst ride. Any chance of a post mate? I am a luddite in the extreme.

Nic Boomer.
If that doesn't make it in this years, I'd love to see it in next years.
I guess Cam will start another calendar thread soon.
