Old Chap from Far South Coast NSW (Elderly Gentleman)

Hi... just joined up today and thought I would introduce myself. ( I might be a bit previous, I don't have my bike yet ) Name is Ken , better known as Grumpy, from Far South Coast NSW. Retired with some disabilities (like falling off ) New GSF1250 was to arrive last Wed. 22 12 2010, but ....but.. it did not arrive until 12 pm Friday and accessories did not arrive at all.... nothing today.. tomorrow ????. Currently on a SV650 ..restoring a Bultaco Metralla. Ride with Ulysses 3 times a week. Have spinal degeneration with weakness in legs so hope I can hold the Bandit up. Used to race dirt track in 60s and 70s. Have a tendency to LURK look listen and learn rather than post. ...............................Grumpy ( I like this bloke !!! )

Wow ...Bultaco Metralla, I came so close to buying one in about '77, probably a good thing I didn't, anyway welcome aboard I am sure you will enjoy your Bandit.

Great news today.....bike was ready about 0930 .......went down and collected it. FEELS GOOD.....DAMN GOOD......rode home steadily ,still double demerit points. FELT GOOD....DAMN GOOD. spent the afternoon fitting all the little nice things...GPS , hand guards , screen etc. Should have it back for first service on Monday. I like it !!!! Grumpy

Gotta admit.............hard to be grumpy with a grin from ear to ear ....couple of short runs over the weekend.. still too many d**k heads around and still double demerit points...........will keep it steady ( for now )............Grumpy
