G'day Everyone, Thanks for letting me join up!
I'm currently fixing up a 1996 1200 to use on a charity ride i do every year called the Scrapheap Adventure Ride. You have to find a bike for under $1k and get it going and ride to the venue. This one literally was dragged off a scrapheap in Barraba where it had been left to rot. So what better name than the "Scrapheap Rat". It looks good in this pic, but trust me.....its pretty shabby. Everything was either worn out, seized or rotted out. I did just manage to get it blue slipped though. Still struggling with the carbs but otherwise its a beauty

Hi, welcome.
That's a Gen 1, as scarse as rocking horse or Unicorn shit. When you finish your adventure, don't be in a rush to sell it. Plenty of info hear, or try " old skool Suzuki" for carby tips, etc
