2008 GSF1250S Blinkers on a timer?
Hi Everyone,
I have a question about my recently acquired 2008 GSF1250S.
Annoyingly, the blinkers and hazard lights cancel after about 30 seconds. To start them again, the switch has to be depressed them moved left or right. There's no mention of self cancelling in my Owners Handbook so I'm wondering if there is a timer inbuilt or if there is a fault.
I find this annoying and also unsafe; especially when sitting in traffic and the blinkers cancel. No one knows which way I am turning.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon and is there a work around to keep them blinking until I decide its time to turn them off?
Looking forward to responses and good ideas.
Cheers
Leon

Never heard of the Bandit's having self cancelling indicators, could be an aftermarket timer that has been fitted by the previous owner.
