I still think.........
I still think this is a great idea but seem to be the only one .What am I missing ????
The trouble with touring Tasmania is the price of riding to Melb, and the ferry cost ,return .That, i'm sure off .
So ,buy something like pic below ($2000 ,yes it is mine and for sale ) and leave it in tas rent free.Si Rego is about $130 a year and you can use 110 days .
Get cheap flights down and return (Tas to Melb $35 ,example.
We did it when we lived in Qld and first trip the savings paid for TWO bikes and money left over .
Anyone ?

I think for anyone wanting to make Tasmania a regular destination it would be a great idea . For anyone wanting to see other parts of Aust as well , probably not as much so .

Can a interstate person own and register a vehicle in Tasmania?
SA allows it, Vic doesn't, just wondering
Re: I still think.........
Not sure ,but I can rent it to you for ever for $2000 .lol
If you only plan on going to Tas once the idea is useless ,but we did it about 6 times before we moved for good .
