I bought an 09 1250s with about 23000 on the clock and am happy with purchase over all( back on a suzuki ), but have a question or 2 about engine noises. Anyway G'day all. Welcome to the forum, you'll have to wait for the 1250 guys, original bandits don't have noises, well none that I can hear with my earplugs in.

Hello From a rainy Sydney!
Awesome thanks. Hope to see all on a ride soon, just message me if there is a run on. No 10 min skips through the national park though. no point getting up for it.( but a run to Singleton via Maitland and double back through the Putty is cool!)

*Arrow race headers with Yoshimura TRS.
*PC3 with the supplied map and these mod got 123hp with 115nm of torque.

Welcome aboard.
Anyone who thinks their B1250 engines are noisy have never ridden mid 80's Yamaha's or Kawas. Even compared to other Suzuki's I've had I wouldn’t say mine is noisy. Don’t forget there is no fairing down below (until current GSX).
I have heard some people ask about a clutch "tick" at idle on other forums. Cant say I've noticed but I don’t idle for long on my commute.

Welcome Ad. And don't let the rain or fear stop you from riding.
As for noisy bikes, there's nothing quite like the sound of a Ducati. At start up they sound like a washing machine full of loose change, even the ones with wet clutches are a tad rattlely.

Welcome from another new guy.
Glad to hear that it's not only the older (2006) bikes that can be noisy, I too currently have new bike syndrome complete with noises. Adds character apparently.
