The Shed ,
Ive gone from a 3 bay colourbond shed to ,no shed at all .
Bikes are stored next door but that's awkward so it was time for my own .
A tin shed was always going to be a tin shed so that was no good .
A nice Triton Shed was to expensive .
A container ( we built a container house , 2 containers with a middle part , not pretty, but its good enough ) but they are too narrow to move a bike around .
I thought I would have a go at building a simple shed to put the bikes in .

Re: The Shed ,
Of cause after a few beers the mind stars to wonder .
I'm in Tasi so i'm going to need a heater arnt I ,and a place to have a cup of tea . What about a bed for any idiot that might call in . The view here is not bad so a deck would be nice .
All on a very limited budget .
Ive never built anything before ,we pushed the containers around the paddock with the hippy truck .
It didn't have to be council approved because its my shed not theirs .
First decision size 3.6 buy 6 mts gets me timber in one piece . That it is then .
Waited till it pissed down rain and started digging stump holes . I was keen .

Re: The Shed ,
You need to take pictures of said events @gus just make sure you have the uprights and it should be sweet. Insulation might be a worthwhile addition too

Wait for the National meet that might be happening in your area next year and we can all chip in to get the job done.

Re: The Shed ,
National (or any other) meet = relaxing, riding, spinning yarns, talking shit, drinking too much, talking more shit but it DOES NOT include the "W" word unless someone breaks down and working on a bike is really nescasarry to keep them going, capisci?madmax wrote:truck wrote: Wait for the National meet that might be happening in your area next year and we can all chip in to get the job done.

Yep ,I made a 2 part barn door . Every time I open the top half I have to say . Hallo .............
Put in a double bed above the bikes . A fridge ,a heater , a work bench with parking for about 6 bikes .
At the moment our sons visiting but I 'm making him sleep on the floor. Its my shed and i'm going to be the first to test ride it .
