Loose pick up? Corrosion in connectors?

Pretty sure someone else posted the same problem a while ago on here  & it turned out to be a faulty speedo ,The only other thing I can think of is a faulty or completely covered with crap sensor ( front sprocket ) ........might be worth a try .
