Passenger footpeg hangers? Empty Passenger footpeg hangers?

Post  Greg62 Wed 29 Jun 2016, 2:20 pm

Hello all

I own a 04 1200s, and I have purchased some drop down footpegs for them, unfortunately they have send me the ones for the 06 1200s which are the same as the 1250's, which it turns out are different to mine.

Could an owner of a 1250 please tell me the distance between the centre of the bolts on the pillion footpeg hangers.

I am considering changing to a pair of 1250 hangers to accommodate the pegs that I have purchased.

Mine are approx 9cm between the centre of the bolts.

thanks

The 1250 brackets may be longer (making them lower), I've just measured them from 1/2 way between the mounting bolts to about the centre of the peg mount, both sides are approx 145 mm

I've never forgotten in Primary School (about grade 3 or 4) when we changed from Imperial to Metric our teacher was teaching about all of the new measurements we'd be using to replace inches (and fractions of a inch), feet, yards, chains, miles etc and she told us that Australia was not going to use cm for a standard unit of measure unless it was for dressmaking, we were only to use mm, m and km. It's funny how some things just stick in your mind, that was over 40 years ago ffs!!  What a Face
