WANTED: Signal Generator Rotor part # 33120-19C20 for 1997 Bandit GSF1200
I'm a desperate man!
Desperately seeking: Signal Generator Rotor part # 33120-19C20 for my 1997 Bandit GSF1200S.
This little jigger (number 4 in the pic below) got damaged when a screw (number 6 in the pic below) fell out whacked a few bits on its journey to the sump.
I'm told some people buy after market ones that advance the spark 5 degrees, so I'm really hoping someone has one lying around that they can sell me.
Or maybe I too should buy an 'advanced' one?
I've phoned and emailed about a dozen wreckers, and i have an enquiry up on findapart.com.au and on the Bandits FB page. No luck so far.
Suzuki Aust can get one from Japan, ETA three weeks. Same story with partzilla.com in the USA.
But I'm convinced there must be one on this continent i can buy, somewhere...
All offers and suggestions gratefully received!
Cheers,
Matt

Maybe.
According to this website the same part fits a few models:

I'm assuming it's you that posted the same request on the Facebook page Normandy?Normanby wrote:Maybe.

They seem to be readily available in the US and UK, one Suzuki dealer had a parts searcher, said none on stock, find availabilty in Australia, clicked on that and it said none in the country.
Their price was a lot dearer than the US price as well

Found one!
Previous owner took pity on me and ripped one out of his other (donor) bike.

Typical Bandit owner, restoring faith in humanity. Well at least to other Bandit owners

Good stuff mate.
I would have thought, the whole Bandit thing, would have burnt a hole in your tongue by now.
Your a persistent bugger.
