Gopro charging problem

My Gopro won't accept a charge.
Any ideas?

I think you need to plug it in first.

MM - but I can't find the charging port to plug it into, or the HDMI port beside it,or the cover that goes over those, or...........................

But at least the cable worked!

You need to adjust the air-gap, common problem!

It's ok. When you watch the footage back, you should be able to pin point the stretch where it fell off, go back and get it.

So..Have you ever dropped the unit?
      Bumped it while on the bike?
      Any unforseen fatigue, that would speed up the life expectancy?
      How old is the unit?
      How common is it, that they brake?

I got one. Bloody thing still sitting in the box 18months later. (I don`t rush things)

I`m  just curious, that's all.  I`m curious by nature

I hope there`s no incriminating evidence on the unit?

Maybe it ran away from home because it secretly wanted to lay on the side of the road and be a speed camera

Yes - I bolted it to a bike that could break your teeth with its horrible snatch (by a stroke of coincidence 2 years of intense tuning has got the motor to the best its ever been and vibration is pretty minor now  )  
1-2 years.
AFAIK very rare to break the case itself.
