Fancy Pictures
As you most of you know that i like to bore you lot with lots of on bike Video on youtube and vimeo. but recently i bought a Nikon D800 to replace my Video camera and i liked it so much i bought D600 as a second shooter, after some picture taking i discovered much to my disgust that i take a better photo with my GoPro and my iphone ;(
So i discussed this issue with a photographical mates for a few tips so, so i am improving and mostly using my D600 for picture.
this i reckon is my best one

Nice shots JC. I admire anyone who can master the art of high speed photography.

Re: Fancy Pictures
Hi mate, don`t take this the wrong way, because I think you`ve taken some good shots, along with other things you`ve posted in the past, and I have a very limited knowledge of photography.
But I almost see that with the digital age that we`re in, its almost getting impossible to shoot a bad shot.
If anyone takes a bad shot, you can delete it, and by either playing with a camera in Manual, AV, TV, or even Priority, and doing a burst of shots, cameras these days will almost always, get a good shot.
But the talent obviously comes with setting it up correctly for any given shot, you want to turn out perfectly, which I lack greatly, and will never be a good photographer.
I know money has a lot to do with it too. Full size sensor, and an expensive lens goes along way with capturing a good photo.
I`ve still got a 35mm Canon A1, with a 50mm 1.2L lens, which still takes extremely good photos, but only 2 out of my 24 photos are any good after developed, as stated, lacking skill.
Have you seen this new camera from Canon, http://nofilmschool.com/2015/07/canons-multi-purpose-ME20F-SH-full-frame-35mm-camera-4-million-iso
It has a 4million ISO, and only costs about $30 000, but apparently, it can almost take a photo it total darkness, and its been stated by critics, that this is going to be the new way in development in cameras, that is ISO, not Megapixels enhancement.
Anyway, I still like your shots.

Its not the equipment, its knowing your equipment, its limitations, and having some idea of composition and lighting.mtbeerwah wrote:
