Givi Screen

Givi Screen
I fitted a Givi screen to the 1250s which is 11cm taller than the Suzuki original. The Givi is excellent quality and a 'plug-and-play' replacement for the original (and that looks to be the case with the one you've come across). However, I'm 6ft 2in tall and I found that the Givi (which has a lip to deflect air upwards) is actually deflecting air into my helmet. I've done a few 100kms with it and have decided I prefer the lower original screen which puts the air into my chest area. At 100-110kms/hr I reckon the original is more comfortable. But, it all comes down to height and where your head is in relation to the screen. I reckon anyone under 5ft 10in would reckon the Givi is the ducks guts as the deflected air would be going over their helmet. The rider's height between 5ft 10in and my height (6ft 2in) is the grey area where it could be problematic.
I'm selling the Givi at $100 (I paid $209) and it would be a bargain at that price for anyone it suits. It is a smoked color and as I said excellent quality - it just doesn't suit me. If you are tall, be watchful of the same problem.
You can call me on 0428 256 909 if interested.

Re: Givi Screen
Folks,
Have sold the Givi screen. Hope I don't live to regret it.
