35hp from a 350 in 1970 - that's not too shabby.

Re: Triumph Bandit
Interesting looking bike with the twin cam mill.
It would have been well behind the 2 strokes in power at the time though wouldnt it?

The 1970 yammy had similar HP , with more torque & 2 strokes were generally lighter
http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/yamaha/yamaha%20r5.htm
But 4 strokes like the 350 Honda were also immensely popular at the time .....................the choice was fantastic

The government is finally looking at giving it the ok here, along with lane filtering, wish they'd hurry up with both!Kiwisteve wrote:We'd get done big time parking on the footpath here!madmax wrote:SuzySuzuki wrote:Well that makes me one, cause when I park at Coles, the bike parking spaces are near bakers delight lolpaul wrote:Your not one of those hoons who hang around shopping centres...... outside Bakers Delight I hopeKiwisteve wrote:But I love the smell of freshly made bread!SuzySuzuki wrote:No, no breading here...maybe breeding?paul wrote:LOL " the love Bandit "Chook wrote:Reading the thread title I thought Lyn's bikes must have been breading

Re: Triumph Bandit
I'm really enjoying the filtering. I did have one tosser jump the lights after I'd filtered to the front on time tho, so keep an eye out for those that don't keep up with the new laws coming in.
