Chook's daughter
Hi, dad suggested since I'm going to Parkes I should register and introduce myself.
I'm 16, in Year 11 and have been dad's pillion for as long as I can remember, my biggest trip was to Mooranbah in QLD 3 years ago to stay with dad's best mate.
I've got my learners permit for the car, once I get that out of the way I want to get my bike licence as well.
As well as riding on the back off dad's Bandit I also dance. I started Tap and Jazz when I was 3, Classical when I was 4, a few years later Contemporary and Hip Hop, then when I was 8 I started cheerleading for the North Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL. Now I do Tap, Jazz, Cheerleading and occasionally Contemporary. I have been lucky enough to dance overseas, when I was 14 I was selected to dance in 2 festivals in China, I had my 15th birthday while I was over there.
I've already met Paul, his sons and Rayman06 a while back and I'm looking forward to meeting a heap more of you in Hay and Parkes.

This was the morning we left for Mooranbah nearly 3 years ago, it was the morning before 16 sleepless nights for someone's motherDancing Pillion wrote: my biggest trip was to Mooranbah in QLD 3 years ago to stay with dad's best mate.
That day was the same as Day 1 of the Parkes trip, Adelaide - Hay, this time it will be nice to have travelling companions, Rayman06 from the start and we'll be picking up SuzySuzuki at Piangil on the VIC/NSW border on the way through
BTW, the SA takeover is gaining momentum!!

I think it was Ewok that mentioned the influx of SA members on the forum, Kaylah is another to add to the listSuzySuzuki wrote:Ooh, who else is coming along with you?

Welcome to the forum Kaylah.
Does that now mean we have to start minding what we write into the forum?
Best keep her away from the sick and bad joke thread Chook!

Kaylah's well trained at "ignoring" what she hears, she's been listening to the North Adelaide Grog Squad at the footy for her 16 years, I reckon if she repeated some of what she'd heard over the years in front of the Taj Mahal at Prospect Oval some of you guys would blush!!madmax wrote:Welcome to the forum Kaylah.

Re: Chook's daughter
Hi Kaylah.
It was nice to meet a pleasant, bright, well mannered young person. I'm sure mum/dad are proud.
BTW...
What sort of bike are you (and dad) thinking about learning on. Sporty or cruiser looking?
Maybe a chookie ? lol
I had Kawasaki GPX 250 as one of my learner bikes.
Very cheap and very zippy to a point.
If I had to do it again the LAMS Suzuki SV 650 would be nice.
Cheers MattyC

A chook chaser's not completely out of the question, they're fairly light, good riding position, nimble and it'd give me more options of places to take her to learn

Why not Suzy?
Are you forgetting about the pom that rode a ct110 from Brisbane to London! He did about 37,000 klm on it to get home. His 1st ct110 only made it to Brisbane from Sydney, but he visited the Postie Bike King in the Brisbane area & got the one that took him all the way home.

Only took him 9 months! I think that has to be a land speed record for a loaded Postie bike!
