New Member in SA
Hi there,
I've just bought a GSX1250FA and still running in at this stage, after riding a 1500 Boulevard cruiser for 2 years.
I'm 49yrs old and have been riding bikes on and off since I was a kid, but its only been the last 2 years that I've made it a weekend regular pass time.
I'm certainly enjoying the new ride experience and thought it may be good to catch up with some fellow bandit owners in South Australia for a start anyway.
cheers,

Welcome richmich, which part of SA do you hail from, I'm in the Western Suburbs as is Rayman06, there's a whole stack of them down South.
It's probably too late but have a look at the Parkes National Meet thread, there's a couple of us heading over from here.
cheers
Ian

Welcome to the forum richmich ................bit of a difference from your last bike I would imagine .We will probably organise some more rides after Parks ( I'm off to Tassi so can't go ) so keep your eye on the SA rides section .

Welcome mate. I think it's part of an SA takeover. Or just adding some more weight to a 2016 meet in SA somewhere!

What's this running in shit?..............ride it like you stole it!
And now you are the second person I've heard to go from a boulevard to a bandit, I take it you got sick of slowing down for the twisties too?

I'm in Belair and I'm not rich. It's Richard.
Can't do Parkes ride, but keen to get together with other riders at some stage maybe closer to home.
Yes, the C90T was slower in the twisties but still a great comfortable cruiser.

Welcome aboard.
Dont baby the bike in the running in stage. Ride it as you intend to ride it.
With modern engines and oils you'll be right as long as its not flogged.

OK I confess, its all my fault. I introduced richmitch to the bandit & when he bought one I told him about this forum.
Now we are rapidly developing an SA infestation!
I am bringing the weed killer to PArkes!

No need to feel guilty about raising the standards of the forum and giving it a bit more class spanna ; there are plenty of us South Aussies to go aroundspanna wrote:OK I confess, its all my fault. I introduced richmitch to the bandit & when he bought one I told him about this forum.
