Harden-Murrumburrah - Sunday 22nd

All things being equal we will be doing a ride from Wagga to Harden-Murrumburrah on Sunday 22nd.

The plan is to leave Wagga (Harley's Cafe - Lake Albert) at about 9am and ride to Gundagai via Wantebadgery and Nangus. From Gundagai to Muttama then on to Murrumburrah via some back roads.

After lunch it'll just be a relaxed ride back to Wagga via Cootamundra.

Great ride. We did roughly 350km on some very interesting back roads. If you're ever in the Gundagai area and intend to ride to Muttama the back road is narrow and bumpy, but is still fun providing you don't push too hard and be aware that if a vehicle comes from the opposite direction there isn't enough room for both of you. Someone once described it as a goat track that has had some tarmac poured on it, I don't think it's quite that bad.

The road linking the Old Gundagai Rd and the Harden/Jugiong road is just magic.

Lunch was at the Twin Towns Cafe in Murrumburrah. I'm not usually a Kebab person but these are very nice. I can highly recommend it. Plus the owner is a rider himself.
