Hi current members and guests,
I've recently bought a 1250s Bandit. So far she's only done about 4,200kms. Mods I've done include:
* radiator guard
* Yoshi R77 carbon muffler
* Healtech speedo healer
* Healtech gear position indicator
* Ventura rack

Have also just taken receipt of a Givi screen which I will fit this weekend - it's about 11cm taller than the original. I'm 6ft 2in in the old measurements so I'm hoping it will keep a bit more air off me at higher speeds (which the Bandit seems to like!).
I also have on order a belly pan from Banditmania in the UK and will fit that when it arrives (hopefully soon).

I'm really stoked with the Bandit - can't wait until summer when I can get some proper rides in!

Hello there, nice exhaust, I've just been pricing them on the net, Bike Gear Warehouse has them for $899 yet when I go to the US on Morepowerracing.com.au they have them listed at US$480 plus some ridiculous delivery charge ... needless to say I'm confused.
May I ask where you got yours from ?

"Freezing cold Canberra!" - You obviously don't have heated hand grips. Go down to Tuggeranong motorcycles and get a set. Why wait for Summer for a good ride?

Welcome to the forum.

Tony.

welcome to the site buddy.
we'll have to meet up when us NSW boys go for a ride south. In summer we will be doing a few down to goulburn. Hope you can make an appearance.

We have an overnighter for the last weekend of October heading south.. Very Happy

Hi Baz,

Yeh, I got the carbon can from Bike Gear Warehouse in Sydney:

http://bikegearwarehouse-px.rtrk.com.au/Motorcycle_Exhausts/Yoshimura-Road-Exhausts-GSF1250S-BANDIT

But I reckon they have put their prices up since I got it about 6 weeks ago because I paid $710 inc shipping to Canberra. I didn't fit it myself - it was fitted by Moto Garage in Mitchell, ACT ($88) and the before and after dyno runs cost me $55 each. I have a pdf copy of the dyno results (the forum here doesn't seem to support posting of PDFs though). It shows about 6% - 7% increase in power and torque right across the whole range, including bottom end (not that you can tell on a 1250 Bandit). I'll scan in the curves and post them as a JPG. Here it is:

Hope that helps.
