TZ-X Shoei Lid
My first Shoei. My first $600+ lid.
Feels good. Feels part of my head not an addition.
Doesn't try to lift off at go to jail speeds
Good ventilation but a bit noisier than my long line of HJC's
Time will tell if its $200 better. So far so good.
Matt Black & Red. A bit different.

....................................you would have to scrunch you're toes up if you did
They do have a good reputation & name ...............it will be interesting to see if they are worth the extra cost .

Re: TZ-X Shoei Lid
I had one of those.
It was great until I crashed in it. Head was ok (maybe )
Then I upgraded to the XR1100... YES YES YES it was worth the extra.
Funny how that happens.
Shoei = good.
Also, the only brand that fits my head....

Re: TZ-X Shoei Lid
I couldn't get a Shark of any model to fit. Some Bells were close. PS no longer sell HJC and I was on a PS voucher via insurance and to be honest only a couple of Shoei's fitted and they were in the upper range (to me) but thus one was fine as soon as I put it on before the Sales bird knocked $50 off.paul wrote:What happened with the shark s 900c ?
The colours are a bit different and I like that.
I don't know what shape heads you Shark blokes have but they've never fitted me unfortunately.

Re: TZ-X Shoei Lid
Nice lid 2wa. I'm in the same boat, the s900 is a good helmet, but doesn't fit my head which is strange because my rsr2 fits ok. The s900 pushes on the front of my head and would give me a headache after 10 minutes. My wife has a Shoei xr1100 it's a very well manufactured helmet. My shark unfortunately is falling apart
