OK, it's not a Bandit, & for the immediate to short term future it won't be at the track either.

It's a 1995 ZX6R - the first of the Ninja's.

I'm about to have a minimum of 3 months off the bikes (surgery - not RTA enforced!), so I will have a bit of time to remove all of the stickers (most have already gone), & to clean it up properly. It wasn't registered when I picked it up, but is now being used as a commuter to help keep the k's off the Bandit. It's the first sportsbike that I've ridden, so I'm finding it a bit of a learning curve (keep in mind I've only been riding for 2 1/2 years altogether). Going back to the Bandit is strange as it feels like a big comfy lazy boy chair!

(to help keep the k's off the Bandit.)I don't know why people worry about the amount of K's they do on their bikes, my 02 model has over a 100.000 on her and is still running as sweet as, if it's for resale why buy the bike in the first place you buy a bike to ride not to sell. My thoughts only Willo

I'd rather run the k's up at weekends rather than commuting k's.

this means that I'm 2/3rds of the way to my ideal garage. the only bike missing is a v-strom 650 (which I had prior to the Bandit), purely for it's carrying capacity. The luggage on the Bandit doesn't cope well with my camera equipment.

Nice bike.
When you do decide to use it for the track, we will have to make out SBA race team. Ill be purchasing a trackie in the not to distant future....early next year hopefully. Im going in it with my dad, and we've decided on an SV650.

Hey Boomer. Looks like fun mate.
Looks like your power to weight ratio has gone up abit from this photo of you and your pic that was in the "face to your name" thread.

Hope u enjoy the Kwacka. Bit of advice, my son raced the same model as Supersport 600 back then and they were prone to cracking frames, give it a good check over.

Cheers

cheers whitey - it has made a huge difference.

unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy either bike for the next 3 months as getting my thumb operated on on Tuesday. Sad
upside is that when I get back on the power to weight ratio should be better still!
