Yoshimura rs-3 exhaust
Anyone have one of these that have tested it WITH db killer, and WITHOUT db killer. Interested if you came to same conclusion as me .

On the Bandit the db killer made it sound close to stock. It was removed and discarded

I have the Yoshi TRS, and I find that not only is the noise is improved with baffle in, but the bike is smoother on the overrun with a bit of back pressure too. Not a lot in it otherwise, as most of the muffling occurs at the CAT

My bike was done with Arrow pipes, so no catastrophic converter in the mix

Re: Yoshimura rs-3 exhaust
Different bikes different results I guess . I had to get a roadworthy the other day on the sv 650 .Its quite loud so I put in the db killer just in case it failed because of it being TOO loud .
As luck would have it ,it refused to start in the morning so I missed the appointment . I pulled it apart to check I had put plug leads back on after compression check ,all good there . Checked for fuel as the gauge doesn't work ,yes have fuel .Battery a bit iffy (as in stuffed) so I cannibalized another bike .Hit button ,bingo ,off to the bike shop in hope of a "no worries i'll do it as you wait " moment .
With in 3kls im thinking what have I done to this bike to make it go so much better.New fuel ,doubtful ,plug clean, they were not dirty .
It was the db killer I had forgotten about .Trouble is I have lost the great sound of a v twin .
If you have one put it back in and have another go . Bandit may be totally different , in fact I had one in on the way to Tasi before it shot out and nearly
took off Carols head on the Bonnie behind .
I didn't notice any difference so disregard above post .
Oh dear ,that's embarrising . But , if you have a v-twin .
