Tank Bags....Again.
First topic message reminder :
After trying different style tank bags and not really finding the "right" one, I decided that they ( tank bags ) weren't for me. Well I'm planning a big ride so I thought I might need as much luggage space as I can get without going into panniers. I have invested quite a few $$$ in Ventura luggage, so may as well use it. I came across an ad on fleabay that took my eye. A Bagster tank cover to fit my... Blackbird ( I tried to say that softly ) .
Mmmmm. Gots me thinking and surfing. Well I gots me the cover at a really cheap price and have bought a new bag to go with it. This one : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261417239639?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
I think I like the idea of the tank cover on a long trip. Less worry about scratching or dinging the tank. And as well the tank bag doubles as a back pack. Will post my thoughts when I get both items and installed.
Cheers.

Sorry about that interruption folks. Apple users. You know what they're like.
As I was saying........ I received the Bagster tank cover. A good dousing in upholstery cleaner and it's as good as new. Don't know why I haven't thought of one before. I bought another Ventura rack off of the same guy. The right one for the BBird ( it has more bracing than the Bandit model. Something to do with going warp speeds. ) so I have a Ventura rack for sale that I have advertised in the appropriate section. I did also order a set of Bagster throw over panniers Gus. Will post a pic of the whole set up when it all gets here.
