Looking at weather maps may even clear by 10ish.
I am willing to risk it if anyone else is.
Clearing up here, So I'm willing to risk it. Might be a little late getting to Pakenham though

Hey Spanna did you get home ok with your top box? It was looking a bit precarious before you turned off the freeway

Me & my top box made it home OK, it was facing east but the strap kept it onboard.
Great day guys, thanks for the company.
I have a new nickname for straff .... "michelin man" on that 110kph stretch his wet gear had balloned out like crazy.
Cheers all, catch up another time.

My wet gear proved to be exactly that no wonder I was getting cold by the time I got home

Jacket, jumper and T-shirt damp, socks slightly damp. Legs perfectly dry.
Need to buy wet weather overjacket and re-dubbin my boots.
Oh and fix my bloody heated grips!

Hope you guys enjoyed your ride today despite the rain! Good to catch up with you and put some faces to some names.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it next time.

No wonder I was having so much trouble keeping up with Madmax, all that wind resistance!!!!
I was a bit damp when I got home, even with the wet weather gear on????
That was a good ride even with the weather like it was.
Next time we will head on to Walhalla.
Cheers.

They are now
This is what I found this afternoon
Relays don't work real well when they are full of water and rust. Luckily I had a spare in my bag of tricks

That is one stuffed relay alright. Trick is to make sure the replacement doesn't end up in the same condition.

Re: Good Friday Gippsland Ride
Yep your right, for the time being I've just put another standard relay in, and being as I got over 2 years out of the old one I'm sure it will survive until this one arrives
