Hmm! Not to much response to that. I'd be interested to see your prices, also if you have any info/supply of gel and /or Air seats/covers

I think Kev is shutting up shop Des. At least thats the impression I got from a facebook post last week.
It's a shame as he did some really nice work too.
Re: VCM Cycle seats
I had a seat recovered there about 2 weeks ago. The guy i spoke to was Errol.

I agree with you kevin a darker blue to match the paint would have been nicer. Each to their own however. The stitching looks good though.

Re: VCM Cycle seats
Can you make them in faux rattle can matt black. It's important to cater to all tastes.
I will take a pic of my corbin seat that I want redone. The leather is very slippery and it annoys me. Also I would like to shorten the rider area and extend the pillion seat space. Also I like the look of that cross hatched look on that seat in your pic and I'd like some coloured panels or at the very least accents. To match the faster met grey bandit.

Re: VCM Cycle seats
It was great to meet you the other day Kevin. Thanks or he advise and your time going over my new seat design. I like what you did with the bandit seat you posted above and would like to have the same done on my gsx with the darker blue we discussed and the stiching change.
Will be in touch in a few weeks time when I am up and about again
Cheers

Re: VCM Cycle seats
For those on Facebook do a search for vcm cycle seats and “like” Kevs page. He regularly posts photos.
Re: VCM Cycle seats
What sort of coin are we talking to get the seat modified with postage to and from WA? I woudl just like the front of mine flattened out and the hard edges taken off. Already have an airhawk, but the front of the Bandit seat slopes downwards as you know and the airhawk doesn't have much to sit against.

Re: VCM Cycle seats
sorry guys havent posted here in ages
if you posted just your riders seat to me via aust post i think the most would be $20 the just would cost $60 posted back to you
Re: VCM Cycle seats
That sounds like a bloody good offer. Will talk to the good wife and see what I can do.
What sort of turn around time is there? Do you have any more pictures of Bandit seats done? Mine just needs a reshape so it doesn't cut into the inside of my thighs on long trips

Re: VCM Cycle seats
They look good - are they more comfortable than the standard Bandit seat?? I currently use an 'Air Hawk' to give a little more comfort to my toosh!

Re: VCM Cycle seats
It is more comfortable as it no longer as the sharp edges under the thighs and I have had gel inserts on both pads. The material is not as slippery either. I managed to ride to Newcastle and back on sunday no problems with a 2 1/2 hour stop in Newcastle before riding home.
